With Pride.

Without her,
Men could not have
lived much better,
Society would not have
had achieved so much,
Nations would not have
had progressed so great;
Our dreams to live in Mars,
shall continue to remain a dream,
if we continue to feign
that we are honouring her.
She deserves her honours,
So,lets do it,truly,
With Pride, in our heart!

With Anger.

When I see her toil hard,
helping the cars get parked,
under the hot sun,
selling fruits and vegetables,
under the cold weather,
doing government surveys,
covering distances by foot,
carrying pots of muddy water,
in deserts and villages,
Mr.Corrupt Politicians and Mr.Corrupt Officers,
Mrs. and Mr.Well Educated for bribing everyone,
With Pride,I say,
that,she is more honest,
than all of Us!

With Love.

She juggles at home,
manage the kids,
clicks, and clap,
cook and pray,
for all her family-say,
at times, her own smiles
go miles apart;
where are her dreams?
where are her words?
where is her life?
no one to ask,
no one to dream for her!
But,without her,
the World will not be,
what it is,
for her family;
Generation changes,
but still, she remains
the same-She whom I
affectionately call, the Mother!

*In dedication to every Mother who lives a life for her family, forgetting her own dreams

Poet and a liar

Truth takes time to reach people
but, people take no time
to make a truth
look a lie;
That's the power of a liar.
so, let it be,
am here not bother'd,
for am a poet,
who pen my thoughts,
for my heart knows,
it's me who is the thinker.

A Smiling World

The hands, that work in the field,
are the most powerful, which yields;
The voice, that echoes for the poor,
are the most powerful, which the World hear;

The sickle, that cut the crops,
are the most powerful, when held aloft;
The battle between the rich and the poor,
still continues my dear;

Oh my lord, when will this come to an end,
so that the World lives with peace and joy;
When will i see, no poor and sufferer,
in my World, equality that bring smile and joy;

What can i do to stop the pains,
which can bring my World all good gains;
The day i dream, everyone's pot full of cream,
butter and gold, that runs like a river stream;

Wiping out poor, wiping out fear,
bringing in dear, prosperity and peace,
Let you and me live to see a smiling world,
May Lord bless, let all see a smiling world!

Live life beautifully for, only God knows, whether this moment shall again come back in our life.

Life can't be made up of mere silly moments.Isn't it too bad,if we fail to give life its due respect, in every moment, we live? Will it not be wonderful, if we make every moment a treasured one with every person we come in touch with?

A lonely Sunday as usual, with a slightly tired mind,this time, after a personal misunderstanding, found myself browsing couple of books in the book store shelf, today evening. And, the one book I touched, I started browsing and got into reading the pages...such that, the above two lines popped out of my mind.The book is "To the Last Bullet", by Mrs. Vinitha Kamte,Wife of the slained police officer,Mr.Ashok Kamte during 26/11 Mumbai terorrist attack, co-authored by Ms. Vinitha Deshmukh,a former journalist.

The narration of how, she was on phone with her husband minutes before he encountered the terrorists bravely,on the dreadly night of 26/11, and those tensed moments of her life, when she lost contact with him during his operations over phone, and finally on hearing him being killed in the encounter, were truly life shaking and shocking one.

I realised, thank god, they loved so much so that, they did not have a fight for some silly things nor had misunderstanding during those final phone calls. How many times, we go over fighting with our relations,friends and office colleagues and customers? How often we end up with some sort of misunderstanding with people,near and dear ones, in our life-just to prove a point or stand up to what we say is right... or maybe, convincing our act,telling ourself, am like that only always.

Thank Life. Life has blssed us so much so that,by making us not being there,during a Mumbai terrorist attack, or say during a hurricane Katrina or a Tsunami...Since, life was so kind,that, we all have another day to live in this World, another day to see this World, another chance to meet up, make up and work up on the past incidents-with our near and dear ones, with the known and unknown persons who come into our life. But, what, if only, destiny,then, had its say much early..let us realise the life's greatest teaching-Life does not always give us another chance to love each other...can we regret the whole life for those messed up moments? Being sensitive isn't such a bad thing,above all. It is, to ensure, the person we come in contact, shall continue to remember those lovely good last moments,left by you.If that isn't the last moments, still, the next time shall only be one more great memorable moment. Above all, isn't life such a beautiful one, to be merely frittered away in an insensitive manner,over silly misunderstandings and ego issues?

Mrs.Vinitha Kamte's life turned upside down all over night...in fraction of seconds. She wanted to talk more. She wanted to love more. She wanted to hug more. But, then, destiny took its call on Mr.Kamte. The only lovely point is, the lovely life they had lived, which she continues to treasure. The last moments she talked on phone with Mr.Kamte, will never ever come back in her life again. But, she continue to treasure them, for she knew, how important are those moments in her life.

I realised, that, even the amount of anger I control these days aren't still enough. I need to control more of my self, to show more respect to those every moment in my life, with each and everyone, with whom I come in contact with,during my life time.

Let's appreciate the moments and the people in our life. For both can become a thing of the past,in a fraction of second. When I see a colleague wearing a nice teeshirt or a new shirt, I appreciate them...for I feel happy in seeing the smile dancing across their lips.Now,I only wanted to do it more. So,next time, you feel happy, suggest, share it with the other person.Bring life to the most boring moments between you and the other person.I now have started respecting life,still more.

For, I knew, only God knows, whether this moment I am with you, shall again come back,to both of us, in our lifetime.
